Rough Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani (transl. Romantic tale of Rough and Rani) is a forthcoming Indian Hindi-language sentiment film[1] coordinated by Karan Johar and delivered by Dharma Creations. The film stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.[2][3] The film is planned to deliver on 28 April 2023.[4]

Creation

Head photography of the film started on 20 August 2021.[6] The principal plan occurred in Mumbai, prior to moving to Moscow in September 2021 for a melody shoot with Singh and Bhatt.[7][8] In October 2021, second timetable started in Delhi.[9]

The following timetable was booked for mid 2022 yet it was deferred because of the Omicron variation spread.[10] At last, the third timetable started off in April 2022 close to Mumbai and Delhi.[11][12] on 1 August 2022, Dharma Creations delivered a video declaring the film's wrap with the exception of a melody, whose shoot was postponed to mid 2023 because of Bhatt's pregnancy.

Discharge

The film was planned for dramatic delivery on 10 February 2023, in any case, it is currently deferred because of shooting delay brought about by Alia Bhatt's pregnancy.[13][14] It is presently booked to deliver on 28 April 2023.
